Finally started the world for Canaday City. Actually started 2 worlds. In the first one I spawned in a village with another village near by. I liked the set up and decided to do something else with that world, so I renamed it Twin Cities.
I created a new world and spawned in an area that was pretty much what I had envisioned for Canaday City. It needs some work, some leveling, ect but it will be a great place to start and should save me some time. I needed wood to build a workshop/place to sleep at night, so I went and found some trees nearby. And in the trees I found a small village. So I set up shop in one of the houses and spent the rest of my time playing harvesting wood to build buildings and tools.

Canaday City Day 1-2
Canaday City is something I came up with while thinking of Christmas Presents for my family. We were doing all home made presents this year. Won't be done in time but maybe I can show it to them next year.
I spent the first day just figuring out what I wanted to do. Haven't created the world yet. Just working it out in my head while at work or watching TV.
Day 2 was actually spent in a car on the way to Connecticut (Some where in Ohio I think) as I traveled there for a friend's wedding. Because of the size of what I had planned, I needed to map it out on graph paper to make sure I had enough space to build it when I got into the game. But I have major scale issues. For most of it I used a 1 to 2 ratio, but other parts are 1-1. Opps. should still work. I even did it in colored pencil so I would know what was supposed to be made out of what.
